Eileen joined Temple Sholom in 2013. Prior to joining the Temple, she was a business manager at independent schools for 20 years; five years at Solomon Schechter School of Westchester in White Plains and fifteen years as a senior administrator at School of the Holy Child in Rye. While at Holy Child, she served on the Finance Committee, Compensation Task Force, Strategic Planning Committee, Investment Sub-Committee, two
accreditation steering committees, and the Guidance Committee. Additionally, she was an Upper School advisor. Prior to this, she worked at a series of New York City cultural institutions including The Bronx Zoo, New York Botanical Garden, and New York Public Library.
Ms. Robin has served on the New York State Association of Independent School's Business Affairs Council, as Executive Vice Chair and Conference Chair. She also served on the National Leadership Council of the National Business Officers Association. She also participated on five accreditation teams which accredited other NYS independent schools.
Eileen has a BA in Business Management and Religious Studies from Franklin and Marshall College and a MS in School Counseling from Mercy College. She lives in Rye Brook, NY and has three daughters.

Lori is a native to our area having grown up in Stamford and been actively involved in the Jewish Community in Fairfield County her entire life. She has been a communications professional for over 20 years. Prior to joining Temple Sholom, Lori owned a successful marketing agency working with many corporations and not for profits in the area. Additionally, Lori is a professional photographer and focuses on photographing children and their families.
For many years, Lori volunteered with the Stamford JCC, sitting on their Board of Directors and leading many successful initiatives including the 1st and 2nd Annual Jewish Film Festival, photography for the Maccabbi Games and creating videos and yearbooks for the Sara Walker Nursery School. In 2000 she was the recipient of the Volunteer of the Year Award. Lori currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Unversity of Connecticut Hillel. Lori joined the staff of Temple Sholom in 2008.
Lori resides in Stamford with her three children.

Barry has been a Jewish educator for almost twenty years, coming to us after first serving as Education Director at Temple Beth El in Rochester NY and, then, as Principal of Talmud Torah of Minneapolis. Over these years, Barry has played a variety of national leadership roles, including being appointed as one of only 14 educators in a national fellowship regarding technology in Jewish education, chairing the Jewish Educators Assembly national conference, and currently serving as an officer on the Executive Committee of that organization. His driving philosophy is that Jewish education should be serious, but it also needs to be joyful and engaging. Barry lives in Stamford with his dog, Auggie. He has three children and two grandchildren.

Dave Cohen brings 25 years of early childhood experience and 15 years of senior management experience to our nursery school program. Previously, he served as the Director of Educational Programs at the YMCA of Greenwich and was directly responsible for their Early Childhood Education Program. Dave holds a BS in Human Development and Family Relations from University of Connecticut, a MS in Early Childhood Education Administration from Nova Southeastern University and all but a dissertation toward a PhD in Leadership: Early Childhood and Elementary Education, from New York University. Roles include adjunct college instructor, State certified consultant and American Red Cross instructor. He currently lives in Trumbull with his wife and two children.

Prior to joining Temple Sholom as Director of the Selma Maisel Nursery School, Phyllis Lyons was the Education Manager at Childcare Learning Centers in Stamford for six years, responsible for the curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Preschool as well as training and managing a staff of 80 teachers. She was a member of the Stamford Committee on Kindergarten Transition. Under Phyllis’ leadership, the National Association for the Education of Young Children has accredited the nursery school.
Phyllis has a BA degree in Elementary Education and has earned a Director’s Credential Certificate. As an educator, Phyllis believes it is the responsibility of the school to provide an environment where children feel safe, have a smile on their face, build self-confidence and develop a curiosity about things around them. She has opened a Discovery Room where our children make connections with animals and the world we share. Phyllis lives in Stamford with her husband and has 3 children and 6 grandchildren.

David joined Temple Sholom as Director of Facilities in 2011. Born in Greenwich and raised in Stamford, CT, David has worked in Fairfield County his entire professional career. His portfolio includes more than 18 years experience in the facilities/telecommunication fields, including his previous position as a Facilities Manager at Gartner Inc. David has also worked in the heating/cooling sector with private business owners. David and his wife Bobbi currently reside in Stamford.

Nori Goldsmith joins Temple Sholom with more 35 years of accounting experience. She is a certified public accountant and has worked in public accounting, private industry and non-profit organizations. Previously Nori was a controller for more than a decade at the Brotherhood Synagogue in New York City, where she served on their Board and as co-chair of their Budget committee. She remains active in the Jewish community and has held various positions in her local Hadassah chapter, including 15 years as its Treasurer. Nori has two daughters, a teacher and a nurse, and currently lives in Rye Brook, NY, with her husband and their dogs.
