Lori Baden Associate Executive Director Temple Sholom Synagogue Greenwich Connecticut

Lori joined Temple Sholom in 2008, initially as the Director of Marketing. She was promoted to Associate Executive Director in 2014 and is excited to now become the Executive Director.  Lori has significant experience in marketing, corporate communications and public relations, as well as large scale project management in the commercial real estate industry. For a number of years, Lori ran her own successful advertising agency and did a brief stint as a portrait photographer. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and also completed a certificate in non profit management.

Lori currently serves as the President of the Board of Trustees for the University of Connecticut Hillel. She previously sat on the Boards for the Stamford JCC and the Fairfield County Jewish Historical Society. A native of Connecticut, Lori resides in Stamford with her husband and has three "almost grown" children.

David Cohen, Director of Schools

David Cohen Nursery School Director Temple Sholom Synagogue Greenwich ConnecticutDave Cohen joined the Temple Sholom family in 2016. He has been an educator since 1991 and a school/non-profit leader since 2000. He has taught, led schools, developed programs, advised youth groups, and operated large organizations. Other roles include adjunct college instructor, state certified consultant and American Red Cross instructor.

Dave holds a BS in Human Development and Family Relations from the University of Connecticut, a MS in Early Childhood Education Administration from Nova Southeastern University, a MS in Jewish Instructional Education from Gratz College, and all but a dissertation toward a PhD in Leadership: Early Childhood and Elementary Education from New York University. Dave lives in Trumbull with his wife and has two adult children.

David Dorish, Facilities Director

David Dorish, Facilities Director, Temple Sholom Synagogue Greenwich ConnecticutDavid joined Temple Sholom as Director of Facilities in 2011. Born in Greenwich and raised in Stamford, CT, David has worked in Fairfield County his entire professional career.

His portfolio includes more than 18 years experience in the facilities/telecommunication fields, including his previous position as a Facilities Manager at Gartner Inc. David has also worked in the heating/cooling sector with private business owners. David and his wife Bobbi currently reside in Stamford.

Nori Goldsmith, Director of Finance

Nori Goldsmith, Director of Finance, Temple Sholom Synagogue Greenwich ConnecticutNori Goldsmith brings more than 35 years of accounting experience to Temple Sholom. She is a certified public accountant and has worked in public accounting, private industry and non-profit organizations. Previously, Nori was a controller for more than a decade at the Brotherhood Synagogue in New York City, where she served on their Board and as co-chair of their Budget committee.

She has been the Director of Finance at Temple Sholom since 2016. Nori remains active in the Jewish community and has held various positions in her local Hadassah chapter, including 15 years as its Treasurer. She has two daughters, and currently lives in Rye Brook, NY, with her husband and their dogs.

 

 

 

Gina Cristino, Director of Engagement

Gina is excited to create strong connections and build community as the Director of Engagement. She previously served as the temple’s Manager of Communications and Community Outreach, overseeing marketing, public relations and advertising, in addition to being the chair of the synagogue’s Kulanu Action Committee. Before joining Temple Sholom in 2015, she served as the Communications Coordinator for Community Synagogue in Rye, NY, utilizing her professional experience as a journalist for creating and editing content. Gina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Business Administration from Marist College. Her interests include crafting, attending country concerts, playing competitive Bingo, and spending time with her family.
