Welcome to Greenwich BBYO!

In early Fall 2012, a small group of teens (literally two) came together and founded "Judah BBYO," a chapter of the very successful international teen-led Jewish youth movement. By the end of the 2012/13 school year, Judah BBYO had grown to 45 members, tripling the initial year-end growth goal. The quality of the program — including the strength of relationships, the leadership development, the community service contributions, and the overall inclusiveness — has grown tremendously as well. And, most importantly, this group knows how to have fun.

BBYO is comprised of 8th–12th grade Jewish teens from the greater Greenwich community (including Stamford and Rye Brook, NY) and all Jewish teens, regardless of Synagogue affiliation, are welcome to join. We have a girls BBG chapter and a boys AZA chapter. Meetings are held every other Tuesday evening from 6:30 pm–8:00 pm, and once a month we have a local program on a Saturday night or Sunday. Members are also encouraged to participate in the monthly regional programs, such as conventions and service learning trips. BBYO also partners with organizations such as AIPAC and JTeen. Leadership opportunities are plentiful!
